Kroger is a supermarket chain offering an app for users to facilitate grocery pickup, delivery, and shipping orders. My team oversaw cart management, payment processing, and order summary.

In qualitative testing, users expressed discomfort with paying for their orders due to the absence of a single confirmation point for all order details before payment. To address this concern, the team conducted a Discovery Sprint to test the hypothesis: Would users use the Kroger app more frequently if we included additional order data in the order summary?

Involving backend developers earlier in the process and avoiding assumptions is crucial. We assumed on day 2 that they could assist with obtaining necessary data, but we should have consulted them on day 1.
